How it works

One code. One private network. Just for the moment.

Here’s a gathering, from the door to the next morning.

  1. Scan Live

    Scan the event’s code

    The host shows one code at the door or shares the link. Point your camera at it — in the iPhone app, or from any phone’s browser.

  2. Check in Live

    …and you’re checked in.

    No guest list to type into, and no location needed. The address and the feed open once you’re in. You start at Local — seen only at gatherings you join — and can switch to Ghost anytime.

  3. Share Live

    Share photos, videos, polls, and thoughts

    Comment, react and @mention. Add to the music too: search any song and request it for the gathering’s playlist. In smaller private gatherings the host can put the next song to a vote — join in if you feel like it.

  4. See it live Live

    See what everyone around you is sharing in real time.

    Only people checked in can see it. Hosts can pin an announcement to the top.

  5. Play Coming soon

    Games for the people in front of you

    Soon you’ll also be able to play in-app social games. First up: Gatherers — you play it by walking up to people.

  6. It ends Live

    When the gathering ends, the network disappears.

    Your content is deleted within 24 hours by default.

  7. Keep in touch Live

    Met someone worth keeping?

    If you meet someone you actually want to stay connected with, you can ask to exchange social media handles within the app — on their terms. They approve Instagram, X or LinkedIn one account at a time, and can take it back anytime.
